Tutor Terms and Conditions – TutorNics

These Terms of Use are effective as of July 11, 2025.

These terms outline the expectations, responsibilities, and code of conduct for all tutors working with TutorNics. By joining our platform, you agree to adhere to the following conditions. Violations may result in disciplinary action or removal.

1. Class Guidelines
  • All sessions must be 1-on-1, conducted via Google Meet, and last between 55–60 minutes.

  • Tutors must join the class 2–3 minutes early. If the student does not show up, notify the coordination team via the group and wait up to 10 minutes before leaving.

  • Tutors must update the session status immediately after class to help maintain accurate records and attendance.

  • You must not share personal contact information (phone numbers, WhatsApp, email, or social media) with students or parents. All communication must be routed through TutorNics.

2. Academic Responsibilities
  • Deliver classes according to the assigned curriculum and schedule.

  • Conduct bi-weekly assessments and provide feedback to the student and coordination team.

  • Track student performance regularly and share progress updates when requested.

  • Collaborate with academic coordinators if curriculum modifications or support are required.

3. Professional Conduct
  • Tutors are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication at all times.

  • Avoid discussing scheduling or management matters directly with students or parents; route all such concerns through the TutorNics team.

  • If any inappropriate or unexpected behavior is observed from a student or parent, report it immediately to the coordination team.

4. Class Cancellations and Replacements
  • If you are unable to take a class, inform the team at least 24 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made.

  • In case of emergency or last-minute absence, notify the team immediately through the assigned group or contact.

  • If a student or parent requests a tutor change, TutorNics will evaluate the request and may assign another tutor without prior notice.

5. Tutor Replacement and Pausing
  • If you are unavailable due to exams, travel, or personal reasons for more than a few days, notify the team in advance.

  • TutorNics may assign a temporary or permanent replacement during your absence to maintain continuity for the student.

  • You may resume classes when available, subject to slot and student availability.

6. Inactivity or Lack of Response
  • Tutors who remain inactive or fail to respond to communication from the TutorNics team may be removed from the active tutor list.

  • Consistent delays, missed classes, or low-quality feedback may result in permanent delisting.

7. Payments
  • Payment details, timelines, and calculations will be shared periodically.

  • Tutors are responsible for maintaining a record of their completed sessions and coordinating with the accounts team in case of discrepancies.

  • TutorNics reserves the right to withhold payments if any terms of conduct are violated.

8. Confidentiality
  • All student data, content, and class recordings are the intellectual property of TutorNics.

  • Do not share or distribute any session recordings, screenshots, or internal information without prior permission.

  • Respect the privacy of students and families at all times.

9. Session Monitoring and Quality Control
  • TutorNics may monitor or record classes to ensure quality standards are maintained.

  • Tutors may receive feedback from academic coordinators, and improvements may be requested.

  • Periodic training or orientation sessions may be scheduled and attendance is mandatory when required.

10. Termination Clause

TutorNics reserves the right to:

  • Remove or replace a tutor due to parental complaints, poor feedback, repeated delays, or unprofessional behavior.

  • Terminate your association without prior notice for violation of these policies.
